US Military Veteran Discounts - GI Bill

To assist our US military veterans, Aviation Courses Limited, is offering a discount on the cost of tuition to military personnel on active duty or within one year of separation from the service. To receive this discount, you must have all tuition paid in full on the first day of classes.

To ensure your enrollment date and availability of our FAA-approved testing team, we urge you to send in your registration form and tuition deposit as soon as possible. We have to know you are serious about your training, so we can plan for the availability of our computer services and designated mechanical testing facilities.

After payment of your deposit, the balance of your tuition is due on the first day of class in the form of cash, money order, or bank-guaranteed check only. We regret that we can no longer accept personal or business checks. Additionally, US veterans may be able to receive reimbursement from the Federal Government for the cost of tuition for this training.

Veterans' Reimbursement for Certification Testing
If you are active duty military or retired, you may be eligible for the VA Licensing and Certification Benefit Program. If you qualify for the Montgomery or VEAP GI Bill programs, they may reimburse your costs for certification testing. This would apply to the general, airframe, and powerplant exams, as well as the oral and practical, which could amount to a savings of approximately $700 dollars. If you would like to learn more about this program, visit the Veterans Administration website.

To receive this reimbursement, you must send the VA a copy of your test results with a letter requesting the VA to reimburse the cost. You must also submit a copy of your test results, along with the following information:

  1. Your name and Social Security number
  2. The name of the examination
  3. The date you took the examination
  4. The name and address of the organization issuing the license or the certificate (This may not necessarily be the same organization that administered the test.)
  5. The amount for the cost of the examination (NOTE: Do not include any amount for registration, study guides, or processing fees, as these are not covered for reimbursement).
  6. You must include a statement, such as this: "I hereby authorize release of my test information to the Veterans Administration."
